As of a few days ago, I've owned my house 2.5 years. It's hard to believe. It seems like only yesterday I was looking for it. It's grown on me over the years. The convenience (2.0 miles from work) is incredible. The real obnoxious neighbors on the left moved out. (They were renters, and the house is now in foreclosure, so I'm a little nervous about that.) The annoying guy stopped visiting my neighbors on the right, (I believe he was the boyfriend of a girl living there.) and so I'm now content will all my neighbors. I like my yard (though I wouldn't mind less shade and more sun) and the house itself is perfect in size for two people, and thus a little on the large side for 1 person with 1 regular visitor, so I just close off the parts I don't use, and it's incredibly convenient. I love having a garage, and an en suite bathroom for the master. It's definitely not perfect, and I do have some maintenance concerns, but overall, it's good.

My goal is to get some good faith estimates on re-financing this week. With current rates, I could refinance to a 15 year loan and only pay $100 more a month than what I'm currently paying.
