Japa*nese women seem to have no choice about taking on full responsibilities for the children. The article points out that Japa*nese men are like big children - obviously a massive and rather insulting generalization. Let's make it more kind. Are Japa*nese men like Amer*ican men were in the 50s? In any case, Ameri*can women didn't really have many options in terms of careers back then, unlike Japa*nese women today.

I went to have children, but if I lived in Ja*pan I'd be tempted to skip them - or put them off - as well based on what I've read and heard from a variety of sources. (Of course, I'm doing basically the same thing as an Amer*ican.)
