next year, in the gt freshman class, there are no less than 240 declared aerospace majors! this makes it the third-most popular major after undeclared engineering and cs. unbelievable. and i thought my class was huge!

in other news, i cannot walk today after my run yesterday. going up and down stairs is torture. i am putting off day 2 of the Great Return To Running until tomorrow. the weather the last few days has reminded me of the texas bayou - thick, humid still air with a constant hum of bugs in the background. of course, it's much cooler. however, it still makes me remember that bayou you can visit when you first come into texas. it's some kind of quasi-welcome center, and you can walk along these wooden sidewalk things through the bayou a little ways. you know you're not in kansas anymore when you get there . . .
